Eligibility Information:

Training is available at no cost for eligible individuals through funding from the Skills Development Fund Training Stream. The Skills Development Fund Training Stream is designed to support projects across all sectors that address challenges to hiring, training, or retaining workers, to drive Ontario’s economic growth. 

To register for the Career Launch, Career Recharge or Career Craft training pathways, individuals must be:

  • Ontario residents, aged 15+ (parent/guardian consent required if under 18)
  • Unemployed or underemployed, actively seeking employment in tourism and hospitality, and must provide personal information related to their employment status through the Skills Development Fund Participant Registration Form.

After completing the training, individuals are required to provide information about their employment status every few months up to 1 year after they complete the training. 

To register for the Career Climb training pathways, individuals must be:

  • Ontario residents, aged 15+ (parent/guardian consent required if under 18)
  • Currently employed by a tourism or hospitality business
